When Circa 1850 opened in 1965 it was to sell paint and they still do, at great prices. At their April sale the prices get even better for paint and primer. Their high quality Sollignum white satin which is regularly priced at $25.99, is now $22. It is easy to apply and washable. Sollignum Primer sealer reg. price $16.97 will be $12.97.
Circa 1850 stain and varnish were invented right here, and on the back wall you’ll find liquidated products (Circa 1850, Bulldog, Lepage, Cantech, Zinssers, Solignum and Cabot) and ends-of-lines of those.
Cabot and Solignum deck stains are here as well as strippers in liquid and gel, marine quality varnish and rolls of steel wool in all grades. There is contractor’s grade paint too, in both latex semi-gloss and flat, Nu-Lustre 55 high gloss epoxy finish, Klenk bathtub paint, Les Anciens Ebenistes waxes and environmentally friendly varnish and wood stains.
